Η Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης είναι πλέον στο Νο1 της λίστας που δημοσίευσε η KPMG.
Η Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης ξεπέρασε την Manchester United και έπιασε την κορυφή της λίστας με τις πολυτιμότερες ομάδες του πλανήτη που καταρτίζει η KPMG, φτάνοντας τη συνολική της αξία στα 3,22 δισ. ευρώ.
Η έρευνα που αφορά την περίοδο 2017-2018 εξέτασε την κερδοφορία, τα τηλεοπτικά δικαιώματα, τη δημοφιλία, τις αγωνιστικές προοπτικές και την αξία των γηπέδων κάθε ομάδας.
Η παρουσία των βρετανικών ομάδων στη συγκεκριμένη λίστα είναι για μια ακόμη χρονιά πολύ έντονη. Οι φιναλίστ του φετινού Champions League, Liverpool και Tottenham καταλαμβάνουν την έβδομη και ένατη θέση, ενώ οι φιναλίστ του φετινού Europa League, Arsenal και Chelsea έρχονται έκτη και όγδοη. Επιπλέον, η Manchester City είναι πέμπτη.
