Αγγέλικα Γκούσκου

Η Αγγέλικα Γκούσκου είναι αριστούχος διδάκτωρ (Doctor Juris) της Νομικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών στον τομέα του Εμπορικού/ Εταιρικού Δικαίου, με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στη Γαλλία, Σορβόννη, και την Ελβετία (Universite de Lausanne, HEC), καθώς και με διετή δικηγορική εμπειρία στο City του Λονδίνου. 

Είναι συγγραφέας νομικών μονογραφιών και μελετών στους κλάδους του Εταιρικού και Εμπορικού Δικαίου και Δικαίου Διεθνών Συναλλαγών.

Σήμερα παρέχει νομικές υπηρεσίες ως managing partner της δικηγορικής εταιρείας Selekos – Gouskou and Co επί ζητημάτων εταιρικού δικαίου, χρηματοδότησης, ανάπτυξης ακινήτων και εν γένει διαχείρισης περιουσίας, επενδυτικών και εμπορικών συμβάσεων. Ανήκει στους Διαιτητές του ΕΒΕΑ από το 2011 και συνεργάζεται με το Διεθνές Εμπορικό Επιμελητήριο Παρίσι (ICC), ως μέλος στη Νομική Επιτροπή αυτού (Legal Committee) αλλά και συμμετέχοντας στη Τραπεζική Επιτροπή του, τόσο στη χώρα μας δια της ομώνυμης ομάδας της Ένωσης Τραπεζών, όσο και στο εξωτερικό. 

Η Αγγέλικα Γκούσκου  είναι μέλος του Ελληνικού Συμβουλίου για την Εταιρική Διακυβέρνηση (ΕΣΕΔ) του Χρηματιστηρίου Αξιών Αθηνών/ΣΕΒ. Έχει τέλος, αφιλοκερδή δράση σε θέματα εταιρικής διακυβέρνησης μη εισηγμένων εταιρειών, ως συνιδρύτρια της μη κερδοσκοπικής οργάνωσης The Corporate Governance Hub. Είναι παντρεμένη και μητέρα τριών παιδιών.

Angelika is a Doctor of Law (cum laude) in business and corporate law and is admitted to the Βar of Athens. She has initially studied Law in Athens Law School, then Banking and Financial Law in Sorbonne – Paris I, Paris, France and further to that Management of Banking Institutions in HEC Lausanne Switzerland. She has undertaken subsequently a legal research in Max Planck Institutut, Munich, Germany on Board of Director’s (BoD) rules and operation. The aforesaid comparative law research on BoD rules led to the publication of a book on the matter and to several other articles and publications mainly on the topic of Directors’ remuneration, stock options etc. Angelika is also the author of a book on “Bank Guarantee of first demand” (phd thesis) and of numerous other articles and publications on various legal matters of business, corporate and commercial law that were published in Greece and abroad.

Since 2000 Angelika is the managing partner of Selekos Gouskou & Co Law Offices and before that she had the chance to stay in London and cooperate for two years with London City Law firms on international transactions/project finance.

Angelika has also worked from the position of special legal advisor for 20 years for the Hellenic Banks Association and she has been the legal advisor, BoD member or BoD secretary for various Greek corporations, including the legal advisor of the State owned company DEPA SA for 5 years, advising on international transactions and public sector’s corporate governance.

Today, in several occasions she is advising on privatisation projects and international transactions, focusing at all times on corporate law and governance, for the benefits of which she has a strong belief. Angelika is a member of the Committee of ESED (the Greek Corporate Governance Council) and she is also an accredited arbitrator on commercial, business and corporate law of the Athens Chamber for Commerce and Industry (EBEA) and a member of the Legal Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris. She also represents Greece at the ICC Banking Commission on behalf of the Hellenic Bank’s Association.

Angelika is married and has 3 children.
