Ιδού οι μεγαλύτερες εταιρείες που αποκομίζουν τα οφέλη μιας ισχυρής παγκόσμιας οικονομίας.
Σύμφωνα με το Forbes Global 2000 που δημοσιεύθηκε πρόσφατα, η πανδημία του κορωνοϊού έχει αναταράξει τη λίστα με τις πιο κερδοφόρες (δημόσιες) εταιρείες στον κόσμο. Οι εταιρείες τεχνολογίας Apple και Microsoft έφτασαν στην κορυφή της κατάταξης, ενώ τα τραπεζικά και επενδυτικά κέρδη παρέμειναν σταθερά.
Δεδομένου ότι τα κέρδη είναι γνωστά μόνο για εταιρείες εισηγμένες στο χρηματιστήριο ή εκείνες που σκοπεύουν να εισαχθούν στο χρηματιστήριο, τα κέρδη μεγάλου αριθμού εταιρειών σε όλο τον κόσμο, ιδίως κρατικών εταιρειών, παραμένουν άγνωστα και δεν περιλαμβάνονται στη λίστα.
