Ποια είναι η εταιρεία που βρίσκεται στην πρώτη θέση και κέρδισε τον τίτλο «Αεροπορική εταιρεία της χρονιάς»;
Τη λίστα με τις «κορυφαίες αεροπορικές εταιρείες στον κόσμο» δημοσίευσε η σελίδα που ασχολείται με την ασφάλεια των αερομεταφορέων, airlineratings.com.
Η λίστα της σελίδας κατατάσσει τους αερομεταφορείς με «κλασικά» κριτήρια, ως προς την ασφάλεια, την υπηρεσία πτήσης, την άνεση των επιβατών και τα δρομολόγια των πτήσεων.
Φέτος, ωστόσο, προστέθηκαν νέα κριτήρια και για πρώτη φορά, οι αεροπορικές εταιρείες αξιολογήθηκαν εν μέρει από τον τρόπο με τον οποίο ανταποκρίθηκαν στην πανδημία του νέου κορωνοϊού. «Ο Covid επηρέασε τις βαθμολογίες με δύο τρόπους», δήλωσε ο επικεφαλής της airlineratings.com, Τζέφρι Τόμας. «Οι αεροπορικές εταιρείες έπρεπε να συμμορφώνονται με τα πρότυπα του κορωνοϊού. Παράλληλα, διαγράψαμε την κερδοφορία ως κριτήριο για φέτος», εξήγησε.
Οι νικητές
Η Qatar Airways κατέκτησε την πρώτη θέση φέτος, με τον τίτλο «Αεροπορική εταιρεία της χρονιάς». Ο αερομεταφορέας που εδρεύει στη Ντόχα κατέκτησε το κορυφαίο βραβείο λόγω της καινοτομίας στην καμπίνα, της υπηρεσίας πτήσης και της «αφοσίωσης και της δέσμευσής του να συνεχίσει να λειτουργεί σε όλη τη διάρκεια της πανδημίας», αναφέρεται στην ανακοίνωση της σελίδας.
Η Qatar Airways κατέχει επίσης πρωτιές στη βιομηχανία, ανέφερε η AirlineRatings.com, καθώς είναι η πρώτη που ολοκλήρωσε τον έλεγχο ασφαλείας της Διεθνούς Ένωσης Αερομεταφορών και μεταξύ των πρώτων που δοκιμάστηκαν το Covid Safe Travel Pass. Διαθέτει επίσης έναν από τους νεότερους στόλους στον κόσμο.

1. Qatar Airways
