Νικόλαος Καραμούζης

Ο Νικόλαος Καραμούζης είναι Πρόεδρος της Grant Thornton Φορολογικών και Συμβουλευτικών Υπηρεσιών, με πολυετή πορεία στο ελληνικό τραπεζικό σύστημα.

Παράλληλα κατέχει τη θέση του Executive Chairman στο SMERemediumCap είναι Αντιπρόεδρος της Eurobank Cyprus Ltd και Μέλος Δ.Σ. της Eurobank Private Bank Luxembourg S.A.

Είναι Μέλος Δ.Σ. του Ιδρύματος Ωνάση, Μέλος Δ.Σ. στην Quest Holdings, Μέλος Δ.Σ. στο Ίδρυμα Οικονομικών και Βιομηχανικών Ερευνών (Ι.Ο.Β.Ε.), Μέλος του Advisory Board της διαΝΕΟσις, Μέλος Συμβουλευτικής Επιτροπής  της Stanton Chase, Μέλος Συμβουλευτικής Επιτροπής ΕΛΙΑΜΕΠ και συμμετείχε στην Επιτροπή Σοφών για το σχέδιο ανάπτυξης της Ελλάδας.

Μέχρι το Μάρτιο 2019 διετέλεσε Πρόεδρος Δ.Σ. της Eurobank Ergasias A.E. και Πρόεδρος Δ.Σ. της Ελληνικής Ένωσης Τραπεζών. Στην Eurobank Ergasias A.E. ήταν επίσης Πρόεδρος της Επιτροπής Στρατηγικού Σχεδιασμού και μέλος στην Επιτροπή Κινδύνων και Επιτροπή Υποψηφιοτήτων, του Νομικού Επιστημονικού Συμβουλίου της Τράπεζας.

Κατείχε τη θέση του Διευθύνοντος Συμβούλου στην GENIKI Bank και του Συμβούλου Διοίκησης & Μέλους της Επιτροπής Στρατηγικού Σχεδιασμού του Ομίλου Τράπεζας Πειραιώς. Έχει διατελέσει Αναπληρωτής Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της Eurobank, επικεφαλής για τις δραστηριότητες του Wholesale Banking επί 14 χρόνια,  Υποδιοικητής στην Εθνική Τράπεζα της Ελλάδος, Πρόεδρος της ΕΤΕΒΑ, Υποδιοικητής στην ΕΤΒΑ, Διευθυντής στη Διεύθυνση Συναλλάγματος στην Τράπεζα της Ελλάδος και Σύμβουλος στην Ομοσπονδιακή Τράπεζα του Cleveland των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών και Αντιπρόεδρος Δ.Σ. του ΣΕΒ. Είναι Ομότιμος Καθηγητής στο Πανεπιστήμιο Πειραιώς.

Nikolaos Karamouzis

Nikolaos Karamouzis is the President of Grant Thornton Tax and Business Advisory Solutions SA and brings multiple years of experience in the Greek Banking System.

He holds the position of Executive Chairman of SMERemediumCap, Vice Chairman of Eurobank Cyprus Ltd and BoD Member of Eurobank Private Bank Luxembourg S.A.

He is Member of the BoD of Onassis Foundation, QUEST Holdings, Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (I.O.B.E.). He is also Member of the Advisory Board of diaNEOsis, Member of Advisory Committee of Stanton Chase, Member of the Advisory Committee of ELIAMEP. He participated in special commission for the “Growth Plan” for the Greek economy.

He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eurobank Ergasias S.A., Member of the Strategic Planning Committee, Member of Risk Committee and Nomination Committee and Member of the Bank’s Legal Council. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Bank Association (HBA), as CEO of GENIKI Bank, and Advisor to the Management and Member of the Strategic Planning Committee of Piraeus Bank Group, Deputy CEO of Eurobank group for 14 years, in charge of Wholesale Banking activities, Deputy Governor, National Bank of Greece, Chairman, Hellenic Investment Company, Deputy Governor, Hellenic Bank of Industrial Development, Director, Foreign Exchange Division of Bank of Greece and Adviser, Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland (USA). He had also the positions of Vice Chairman of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV). He holds the position of Emeritus Professor, University of Piraeus in Greece.
