SkyExpress is Greek regional airline that is developing recently with modern fuel saving aircraft such as the ATR 72-600 which is ideal for the Greek island with the short runways for take off and landing and Airbus A320neo. On 9 and 10 September this aircraft flew from Athens to Dublin a 6 hours non stop flight, without passengers, exceeding its official range with passengers. Passenger traffic has declined due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic that affected the tourism and aviation industry.
