Για πρώτη φορά μετά από 30 χρόνια οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες παρουσίασαν ένα νέο βομβαρδιστικό όπλο. Το B-21 Raider αναμένεται να τεθεί σε λειτουργία το 2027 και θεωρείται ως σημαντικό μέρος της απάντησης των ΗΠΑ στη συγκέντρωση όπλων από την Κίνα. Το εκτιμώμενο κόστος αποκαλύφθηκε επίσης με την κατασκευάστρια εταιρεία Northrop Grumman, να αναμένεται να ξοδέψει 700 εκατομμύρια δολάρια ανά αεροσκάφος. Πολλές άλλες εταιρείες θα επωφεληθούν επίσης από το έργο, καθώς θα συμμετέχουν 400 προμηθευτές. Ένας από αυτούς είναι η Raytheon Technologies – της οποίας η θυγατρική Pratt & Whitney θα κατασκευάζει τους κινητήρες για το νέο stealth jet.
