Ενώ οι οδηγοί σε όλο τον κόσμο εξακολουθούν να συναντούν πολυσύχναστους δρόμους, η παγκόσμια ανταπόκριση στην πανδημία έχει αλλάξει τη ροή της κυκλοφορίας και έχει επαναπροσδιορίζει ποιοι δρόμοι, σε ποιες πόλεις, είναι οι πιο κορεσμένοι σύμφωνα με τον τελευταίο Δείκτη Κυκλοφορίας του TOMTOM.
Τα lockdown, τα μέτρα κοινωνικής απόστασης και η μεταφορά από τη δουλειά στο γραφείο στην εργασία στο σπίτι, έχουν επηρεάσει τις ροές κυκλοφορίας σε πολλές πόλεις. Χρησιμοποιώντας πραγματικά δεδομένα κίνησης από περισσότερες από 400 πόλεις του κόσμου, ο δείκτης κατέγραψε την κίνηση μέσα σε διάστημα ενός έτους. Αποτέλεσμα: Το 2020, τα παγκόσμια επίπεδα συμφόρησης μειώθηκαν.
Το Παγκόσμιο Οικονομικό Φόρουμ κατέγραψε στην παρακάτω λίστα τις πόλεις με τη μεγαλύτερη κίνηση στον κόσμο για το 2020.
