Οι πρακτικές είναι ιδιαίτερα σημαντικές για να αποκτήσει κανείς την απαραίτητη εμπειρία στον κλάδο που ενδιαφέρεται να εργαστεί, πριν εισέλθει στην αγορά εργασίας. Η Glassdoor δημοσίευσε πρόσφατα την κατάταξη με τις 25 καλύτερα αμειβόμενες πρακτικές, και σχεδόν οι μισές από τις εταιρείες που περιλαμβάνονται στη λίστα ανήκουν στον κλάδο της τεχνολογίας. Χαρακτηριστικά η εταιρεία αναφέρει ότι το 44% των εταιρειών της λίστας είναι τεχνολογικές εταιρείες, ενώ ακολουθούνται από εταιρείες που ανήκουν στον οικονομικό και συμβουλευτικό κλάδο.
Αυτές είναι, λοιπόν, οι τεχνολογικές εταιρείες που πληρώνουν καλύτερα τους πρακτικάριους.
