Η πανδημία του κορωνοϊού έφερε τεράστιες απώλειες στον κόσμο του αθλητισμού. Μάλιστα, μελέτη που πραγματοποίησε το Sports Business Group της Deloitte αποκάλυψε ότι έως το τέλος της σεζόν 2020-21 οι 20 ισχυρότεροι οικονομικά σύλλογοι του παγκόσμιου ποδοσφαίρου θα υποστούν απώλεια εσόδων άνω των 2 δισ. ευρώ εξαιτίας της πανδημίας.
Ωστόσο, οι ιδιοκτήτες των παρακάτω ομάδων κατάφεραν να παραμείνουν σε μεγάλο βαθμό ανεπηρέαστοι από την πανδημία.
