Η υπόθεση της Ρωσίδας αθλήτριας του καλλιτεχνικού πατινάζ Kamila Valieva προκάλεσε χαμό στους Χειμερινούς Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Πεκίνου και έφερε στο φως μία πολύ γνωστή παθογένεια του αθλητισμού - τη χρήση αναβολικών.
Σκάνδαλα ντόπινγκ έχουν ταλανίσει για πολλά χρόνια τις διοργανώσεις των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων και έχουν σοκάρει το κοινό. Όταν η Διεθνής Ολυμπιακή Επιτροπή (ΔΟΕ) αποφανθεί ότι αθλητές έχουν παραβιάσει τους κανονισμούς των Αγώνων, τα Ολυμπιακά μετάλλια των αθλητών μπορούν να αφαιρεθούν, και να ακυρωθεί η νίκη τους. Τότε, πρέπει να επιστραφούν στη ΔΟΕ από τον παραβάτη.
Στη λίστα που ακολουθεί θα δούμε τις χώρες που έχουν πάρει “χρυσό” στη χρήση αναβολικών, χάνοντας τα περισσότερα μετάλλια.
