Αντώνης Σ. Παπαδημητρίου

Ο Αντώνης Σ. Παπαδημητρίου, δικηγόρος και οικονομολόγος, σπούδασε στη Νομική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και απέκτησε μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο στο Δίκαιο των Μεταφορών από το Πανεπιστήμιο της Aix-en-Provence στη Γαλλία. Είναι κάτοχος διδακτορικού από το Τμήμα Πολιτικής Επιστήμης και Δημόσιας Διοίκησης του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Επίσης, είναι πτυχιούχος του τμήματος Οικονομικών Σπουδών του London School of Economics. Το 1989 ανακηρύχθηκε δικηγόρος παρ’ Αρείω Πάγω. Από το 1992 έως το 2010 διατέλεσε διευθύνων εταίρος της δικηγορικής εταιρείας Α.Σ. Παπαδημητρίου & Συνεργάτες. Το 1988 εξελέγη μέλος του Δ.Σ. του Ιδρύματος Ωνάση κατόπιν σύστασης της τότε Προέδρου, Χριστίνας Ωνάση. Το 2008 ανακηρύχθηκε επίτιμο μέλος (Honorary Master of the Bench) του Middle Temple του Λονδίνου. Από το 2005 είναι Πρόεδρος και Ταμίας του Ιδρύματος Ωνάση.

Anthony S. Papadimitriou

Anthony S. Papadimitriou, a lawyer and economist, studied at the Law School of the University of ATHENS and earned his master’s degree in Transport Law at the University of Aix-en-Provence in France. He completed his Ph.D. at the Department of Political Science and Public Policy of the National and Kapodistrian University of ATHENS. He is also a graduate of the Department of Economic Studies at the London School of Economics. In 1989, he was appointed a lawyer to the Supreme Court of ATHENS. Between 1992 and 2010 he was the Managing Partner of the law firm A.S. Papadimitriou and Partners. In 1988 he was elected member of the Board of Directors of the Onassis Foundation, upon the recommendation of then President Christina Onassis. In 2008 he was made Honorary Master of the Bench of the Middle Temple in London. Since 2005 he serves as President and Treasurer of the ONASSIS FOUNDATION.
