Ασπασία Παλημέρη

Είναι κάτοχος πτυχίου Λογιστικής και Χρηματοοικονομικής (BA in Accounting and Finance) από το Αμερικανικό Κολλέγιο Ελλάδος (Deree College) (1995), καθώς και μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου σπουδών στη Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων (MBA), με ειδίκευση στη Χρηματοοικονομική και στο Μάρκετινγκ, από το Columbia Business School (Νέα Υόρκη, ΗΠΑ) (2000). Ξεκίνησε τη σταδιοδρομία της στη Citibank NA (Ελλάδα) (1995-1996) και στη Eurobank Cards Α.Ε. (Ελλάδα) (1996-1998). Μετά την ολοκλήρωση των μεταπτυχιακών σπουδών της, εντάχθηκε στη McKinsey & Company (Ελλάδα), όπου εργάστηκε ως Associate Consultant (2000-2001) και ως Junior Engagement Manager (2001-2002), με αντικείμενο στρατηγικά έργα για κορυφαίες τράπεζες και επιχειρήσεις της Ελλάδας. Στη συνέχεια, επέστρεψε στη Eurobank Cards Α.Ε. ως Group Product Manager στον τομέα των δανείων (2002-2005) και ως Διευθύντρια Marketing της εταιρείας (2005-2010). Επίσης, διετέλεσε Cards Business Manager στη Marfin Εγνατία Τράπεζα (Ελλάδα) (2010-2013) και Ανώτερη Διευθύντρια Καταθετικών και Επενδυτικών Προϊόντων στην Τράπεζα Πειραιώς (Ελλάδα) (2013-2016). Από το 2016 έως τον Μάιο του 2022 κατείχε τη θέση της Country Manager για την Ελλάδα, την Κύπρο και τη Μάλτα στη Mastercard, έχοντας την ευθύνη για την αύξηση του μεριδίου αγοράς και για τη στρατηγική ανάπτυξη των αγορών των εν λόγω χωρών. Από το 2021 είναι μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου του Ιδρύματος Οικονομικών & Βιομηχανικών Ερευνών (ΙΟΒΕ). Από τον Ιούλιο του 2022 είναι Μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου. Επίσης, είναι Μέλος της Επιτροπής Διαχείρισης Κινδύνων και της Επιτροπής Αποδοχών.

 She holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from the American College of Greece (Deree College) (1995) and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Columbia Business School (New York, USA) (2000). She commenced her career at Citibank NA (Athens, Greece) (1995-1996) and Eurobank Cards S.A. (Athens, Greece) (1996-1998). After acquiring her MBA, she joined McKinsey & Company (Athens, Greece), where she worked as an Associate Consultant (2000-2001) and as a Junior Engagement Manager (2001-2002), supporting strategic projects for leading Greek banks and corporates. Subsequently, she re-joined Eurobank Cards S.A. as the Group Product Manager for Loans (2002-2005) and as the company’s Marketing Manager (2005-2010). She also served as the Cards Business Manager at Marfin Egnatia Bank (Athens, Greece) (2010-2013) and as the Deposit and Investment Products Senior Director at Piraeus Bank (Athens, Greece) (2013-2016). From 2016 to May 2022, she was the Country Manager for Greece, Cyprus and Malta at Mastercard, being responsible for the market share growth and the strategic development of these markets. Since 2021, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Economic & Industrial Research (IOBE). She has been a Member of the Board of Directors since July 2022. She is a Member of the Risk Management Committee and of the Remuneration Committee.
