Άθως Στυλιανού

Ο Άθως Στυλιανού είναι ο Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της RSM Ελλάδος. Είναι Ορκωτός Ελεγκτής Λογιστής και μέλος του Σώματος Ορκωτών Ελεγκτών Λογιστών Ελλάδος, του Chartered Association of Certified Accountants Αγγλίας και του Συλλόγου Εγκεκριμένων Λογιστών Κύπρου.

Έχει διατελέσει Πρόεδρος του Ελληνοβρετανικού Εμπορικού Επιμελητηρίου, Πρόεδρος του Συλλόγου Εγκεκριμένων Λογιστών Ελεγκτών Ελλάδος και Πρόεδρος της Στρογγυλής Τράπεζας Ελλάδος. Επιπρόσθετα, είναι ο Επίτιμος Πρόξενος της Γουιάνας για την Κύπρο.

Πριν από την ίδρυση της RSM Ελλάδος, ο Άθως Στυλιανού, ήταν ιδρυτής και Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος των ελεγκτικών εταιριών Ernst & Whinney και Deloitte Haskins & Sells στην Αθήνα. Κατά τη διάρκεια της μακροχρόνιας συνεργασίας του με την RSM, έχει καταφέρει να αναπτύξει την RSM Ελλάδος ως ένα από τα πιο ποιοτικά μέλη του δικτύου, ενώ παράλληλα έχει διατελέσει Πρόεδρος του Balkans Regional Group της RSM και μέλος του European Leadership Team της RSM.

Στα 40 χρόνια εμπειρίας του, έχει συμβουλεύσει ελληνικές και πολυεθνικές εταιρίες σε διάφορους κλάδους όπως η βιομηχανία, η ναυτιλία, οι τηλεπικοινωνίες, το λιανικό εμπόριο, ο τραπεζικός κλάδος κλπ. Ως Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος, έχει διευθύνει ελέγχους και συμβουλευτικά έργα για μεγάλες επιχειρήσεις ιδρύματα, συγχωνεύσεις και εξαγορές, έργα due diligence και αποτίμησης επιχειρήσεων.

Ως Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της RSM Ελλάδος, ο Άθως Στυλιανού είναι ο επικεφαλής της προσπάθειας της Εταιρείας να ενισχύσει το rebranding της χώρας μας.  Τα τελευταία 10 χρόνια, το δίκτυο της RSM ήταν χορηγός και ενεργός υποστηρικτής των European Business Awards. Κατά τη διάρκεια της συνεργασίας αυτής η RSM Ελλάδος υποστήριζε αφιλοκερδώς όλες τις Ελληνικές επιχειρήσεις οι οποίες συμμετείχαν στον διαγωνισμό με σκοπό την ανάδειξή τους και την αλλαγή αντίληψης στο εξωτερικό σχετικά με την ελληνική επιχειρηματικότητα. Επιπλέον, η RSM Ελλάδος υποστηρίζει Start Ups και τη νεανική επιχειρηματικότητα στην Ελλάδα μέσω μιας σειράς πρωτοβουλιών, όπως το “Re-Inspire Greece from Youth Up”, το “Antiparos Project”, τον διαγωνισμό “Disrupt Greece” για εταιρίες Start Up και πρόσφατα το “ReGeneration” ως Partner.

Ο Άθως Στυλιανού, έχοντας διενεργήσει ελέγχους και προσφέροντας συμβουλευτικές υπηρεσίες σε ιδρύματα, κοινωνικές δομές, φιλανθρωπικά ιδρύματα, περιβαλλοντικές οργανώσεις κ.α. αντιλαμβάνεται την κρισιμότητα του κοινωνικού και περιβαλλοντικού ρολού και συνεισφοράς τους.

Athos Stylianou, FCCA , Managing Partner RSM Greece

Athos Stylianou is the Managing Partner of RSM Greece. He is a Certified Public Accountant, member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (SOEL), the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (England) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.

He is a past Chairman of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, a past President of the Association of Certified Accountants and Auditors of Greece and a past Chairman of the Round Table Greece. He currently is the Honorary Consul of Guyana for Cyprus.

Before incorporating RSM Greece in 1991, Athos Stylianou was Founding & Managing Partner of Ernst & Whinney and Deloitte Haskins & Sells in Athens. During his long term collaboration with RSM he has managed to grow the Greek member firm into one of the most reputable members of the network, whilst at the same time he has served as Chairman of RSM’s Balkans Regional Group and as a member of RSM’s European Leadership Team.

In his 40 years of experience he has advised Greek and multinational companies in various sectors such as manufacturing, shipping, telecommunications, retail, banking etc. As Managing Partner, he has coordinated audits and management consulting assignments of large corporations and of financial institutions, mergers & acquisitions, financial due diligence and company valuation projects.

As Managing Partner of RSM Greece, Athos Stylianou has led RSM Greece’s effort to aid in Greece’s rebranding. This has mainly been achieved through the European Business Awards for which the RSM network has been the Main Sponsor for the past 10 years. RSM Greece has promoted the Awards in a local level and always guaranteed our country’s strong presence in the Awards proving that Greek Businesses can worthily stand alongside any European business. Additionally, RSM Greece supports Start Ups and the Youth in Greece through a number of initiatives, including “Re-Inspire Greece from the Youth Up”, the “Antiparos Project”, the “Disrupt Greece” Start Up competition and recently the “ReGeneration” program as a Partner.

Athos Stylianou has conducted audits and provided financial services to institutions, social structures, charities, environmental organizations, etc. recognizing the crucial impact and contribution through their social and environmental role in our society.
