Danny Donkers

Mr. Danny Donkers is currently the Senior Country Director for Amgen Greece and Cyprus, a position he has held since September 2023. Previously, he served as Country Director of Amgen South Africa.

Danny Donkers joined Amgen Netherlands in February 2019 and successfully led the Oncology business. Later, he was appointed Head of Cardiovascular, Bone Disease, and Inflammatory Diseases in Switzerland.

He has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and has worked in a variety of local and regional marketing and sales roles in different therapeutic areas, including respiratory, neuroscience, and virology.
Mr. Donkers holds a degree in Developmental Psychology from Maastricht University and an MSc in Business Administration from NCOI University. Born and raised in the Netherlands, he describes himself as a “typical Dutchman”: open to new ideas, honest, and direct.
