Δρ. Βασίλης Αποστολόπουλος

Ο Βασίλης Αποστολόπουλος γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1972. Αποφοίτησε το 1990 από τη Σχολή Μωραΐτη. Είναι αριστούχος πτυχιούχος του London School of Economics (ΒSc Management), κάτοχος μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου στη Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων (ΜΒΑ)
από το Πανεπιστήμιο του Cambridge και Διδάκτορας του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Ο τίτλος της διατριβής του είναι «Διάθεση πληρωμής για αγορά υπηρεσιών υγείας στην Ελλάδα», η οποία και του απονεμήθηκε με άριστα.

Ο Δρ. Αποστολόπουλος είναι Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος του Ομίλου Ιατρικού Αθηνών που αποτελεί την ηγετική επιχείρηση του κλάδου υγείας στην Ελλάδα και τη Νοτιοανατολική Ευρώπη.

Οι δραστηριότητες του Ομίλου Γ. Αποστολόπουλου, στον οποίο ο Βασίλης Αποστολόπουλος είναι Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος, εκτείνονται πέραν από την υγεία στις ασφάλειες, το real-estate και το εμπόριο.

Ο Δρ. Αποστολόπουλος είναι Πρόεδρος της Ελληνικής Ένωσης Επιχειρηματιών (ΕΕΝΕ), μέλος του Γενικού Συμβουλίου του Συνδέσμου Επιχειρήσεων και Βιομηχανιών (ΣΕΒ), μέλος του Ελληνικού Συμβουλίου Ιατρικού Τουρισμού (ΕΛΙΤΟΥΡ) και μέλος του επιχειρηματικού συμβουλίου Ελλάδας – Κατάρ.

Επιπλέον, είναι μέλος του Advisory Board του Ελληνικού Παρατηρητηρίου του London School of Economics και του διεθνούς επιχειρηματικού κέντρου και management του Πανεπιστημίου Cambridge (CIBAM).

Ο Δρ. Αποστολόπουλος είναι ιδρυτικό μέλος του σωματείου «ΔΙΕΛΠΙΣ ΠΕΡΙΑΓΩΝΩΝ» που έχει στόχο την προώθηση του μηχανοκίνητου αθλητισμού στην Ελλάδα, καθώς και ιδρυτικό μέλος του Cyber Security International Institute (CSIi) που έχει σαν στόχο να
εκπαιδεύει και να ενημερώνει για την ορθή χρήση και τις απειλές του κυβερνοχώρου ειδικά στα παιδιά. Παράλληλα, είναι μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της Αθηναϊκής Λέσχης και μέλος του Chatham House, στο Λονδίνο.

Για την κοινωνική και ανθρωπιστική του δράση έχει τιμηθεί με το διεθνές βραβείο «Giuseppe Sciacca». Επίσης, του έχει απονεμηθεί ειδική τιμητική διάκριση από τον Δήμαρχο Φούρνων Κορσεών για την προσφορά του στην τοπική κοινωνία του νησιού, ενώ έχει βραβευθεί από τον αρχηγό του Λιμενικού Σώματος για την προσφορά του στο Σώμα καθώς και από την Ένωση Αστυνομικών Υπαλλήλων Αθηνών για την προσφορά
του στους Αστυνομικούς της Αττικής.

Επίσης, έχει βραβευθεί από την Ομοσπονδία Σωματείων Μείζονος Νέας Υόρκης για την προσφορά του στην Ομογένεια της Νέας Υόρκης.

Είναι παντρεμένος με την κ. Ρόη Δανάλη και είναι πατέρας τεσσάρων παιδιών

Vassili G. Apostolopoulos ΜΒΑ PhD | Short Curriculum Vitae

Vassili Apostolopoulos was born in Athens in 1972. He graduated from the Moraitis School and then received his Bsc in Management from the London School of Economics with first class honours and his MBA from Cambridge University. He also
holds a PhD in Health Economics from the University of Athens.

Dr. Apostolopoulos is the CEO of Athens Medical Group, a leading health care services group in Greece and Southeastern Europe. The Group is listed at the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE).

The Apostolopoulos Group, of which Vassili is the CEO has interests extending from health services to insurance, real estate, and trade.
Vassili is also the President of the Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association (EENE). Furthermore, Vassili is a member of the General Council of the Hellenic Federation of Industries (SEV), a member of the Greek Medical Tourism Council (ELITOUR) and
member of the Board of Greece of the Qatar Business Council.

He is a member of the Advisory board of the Hellenic Observatory at the London School of Economics (LSE), and member of the Board of Directors of the Center for International Business and Management (CIBAM) at Cambridge University.

Dr. Apostolopoulos is also a founding member of Hellenic club “Dielpis Racing and Touring”, aiming to promote motorsports in Greece. He also is a founding member and general secretary of the Cyber Security International Institute (CSIi) aiming to educate and inform on opportunity and threats on cyber space. Additionally, Vassili has been elected a member of the Board of Directors of the Athens Club, as well as a member of
Chatham House, in London.

He is the recipient of the “Giuseppe Sciacca” international award for his humanitarian work and has received a special honorary from the Mayor of Fournoi Island for his contribution to the local community. He has also received an award from the chief of the
Greek Coast Guard for his contribution to the corps and also by the Greek Police Union for his contribution to the policemen of Attica. Moreover, he has been recognised for his contribution to the American Greek Society by the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York.

In 2018 he received the Corporate Social Responsibility and Entrepreneurship in Healthcare Award. He is married to Roy Danalis and is father of four children.
