Σοφία Κουνενάκη – Εφραίμογλου

Η κυρία Σοφία Κουνενάκη – Εφραίμογλου είναι Εκτελεστική Αντιπρόεδρος Δ.Σ. του Ιδρύματος Μείζονος Ελληνισμού και Επικεφαλής του Κέντρου Πολιτισμού «Ελληνικός Κόσμος». Είναι Εκλεγμένη Πρόεδρος του Εμπορικού και Βιομηχανικού Επιμελητηρίου Αθηνών και Εκλεγμένη Πρόεδρος του Εθνικού Επιμελητηριακού Δικτύου Ελληνίδων Γυναικών Επιχειρηματιών, International Partner του Global Summit of Women Leaders and Entrepreneurs. Είναι Ταμίας Δ.Σ. του ALBA Graduate Business School, Μέλος στο Γενικό Συμβούλιο του ΣΕΒ και Μέλος ΔΣ στην ΕΕΝΕ. Είναι Πρόεδρος και Διευθύνουσα Σύμβουλος της ΑΡΔΗΤΤΟΣ Συμμετοχών, Τεχνολογιών και Αξιοποιήσεων Α.Ε. και Μέλος Δ.Σ. στην ΤΕΡΝΑ ΕΝΕΡΓΕΙΑΚΗ Α.Β.Ε.Τ.Ε. και στον Όμιλο Lavipharm A.E.

Είναι Β’ Αντιπρόεδρος Δ.Σ. του Φορέα Β.Ε.Π.Ε. Τεχνόπολις – Ακρόπολις Α.Ε., Μέλος στο Non-Executive Directors’ Club και Μέλος στο Business Advisory Council του MBA International Programme του Οικονομικού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Είναι Μέλος της Συμβουλευτικής Επιτροπής του Μανιατάκειου Ιδρύματος, καθώς και του Oργανισμού διαΝΕΟσις. Είναι Μέλος της Επιτροπής Πρωτοβουλίας «ΚΟΜΒΟΣ», που περιλαμβάνει επίλεκτα μέλη του Ελληνισμού και Μέλος του Συμβουλίου της Ανταγωνιστικότητας της Ελλάδας. Είναι, επίσης, Πρόεδρος της Κριτικής Επιτροπής των Βραβείων Responsible Business Awards.

Το 2008, ως Μέλος ΔΣ του ΣΕΒ, ηγήθηκε της δημιουργίας του Ελληνικού Κώδικα Εταιρικής Διακυβέρνησης και της προώθησής του στις επιχειρήσεις, καθώς και στη μετέπειτα ίδρυση του Ελληνικού Συμβουλίου Εταιρικής Διακυβέρνησης, στο 15μελές Συμβούλιo του οποίου, είναι σήμερα μέλος.

Η κυρία Κουνενάκη – Εφραίμογλου υπήρξε Πρόεδρος και Διευθύνουσα Σύμβουλος της εταιρείας τηλεπικοινωνιών Vivodi Telecom και Πρόεδρος της χρηματιστηριακής εταιρείας Fortius Finance ΑΧΕΠΕΥ, τις οποίες η ίδια ίδρυσε. Έχει διατελέσει Μέλος ΔΣ, επί έντεκα συναπτά έτη, στον Όμιλο Ελληνικά Χρηματιστήρια Α.Ε. και Mέλος στο Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο του Ελληνικού Κέντρου Ευρωπαϊκών Μελετών του Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών.

Επιπλέον, επί σειρά ετών, δίδαξε στα Τμήματα Λογιστικής, Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων, καθώς και Πληροφορικής του Α.Ε.Ι. Πειραιά Τεχνολογικού Τομέα. Είναι κάτοχος πανεπιστημιακών πτυχίων και μεταπτυχιακών τίτλων στη Φιλοσοφία, τη Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων και τον Προγραμματισμό Η/Υ. Μιλάει Αγγλικά, Γαλλικά και Ιταλικά και είναι μητέρα τριών παιδιών.

Έχει βραβευτεί από το ΕΒΕΑ και την Περιφέρεια Αττικής για την επιτυχή επιχειρηματική της δράση, καθώς και από την Ένωση Σμυρναίων, το Πολεμικό Ναυτικό, το Γενικό Επιτελείο Εθνικής Άμυνας, τον Δήμο Φιλοθέης – Ψυχικού, τον Όμιλο Unesco και τον θεσμό των Tourism Awards για την πολιτιστική της προσφορά στη χώρα. Επίσης, έχει βραβευτεί από το Rotary Ελλάδος για το κοινωνικό της έργο καθώς και από την Λέσχη The Lions Club Of Athens Specialty New Voices και το Who is who International Awards για τη στήριξή της στη γυναικεία επιχειρηματικότητα και την προσφορά της στον πολιτισμό.

Μrs. Sophia Kounenaki-Efraimoglou is the President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Elected President of the National Chamber Network of Greek Women Entrepreneurs (EEDEGE), Executive Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Foundation of the Hellenic World and Head of “Hellenic Cosmos” Cultural Centre, as well as Treasurer of the BoD at ALBA Graduate Business School and Member of the General Council of SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises). She is the Chairman & Managing Director of Ardittos Holdings SA and  Board Member of TERNA ENERGY GROUP and Lavipharm S.A.

She is Vice President of the BoD of Technopolis – Acropolis SA, Board Member at Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association, Member of the Non-Executive Directors’ Club and Member of the Business Advisory Council of the MBA International Program at the Athens University of Economics and Business. She is a Member of the Advisory Committee of the Maniatakeion Foundation as well as of the diaNEOsis Institute.

In 2008, as a Member of the BoD of SEV, she initiated and led the developing of the Hellenic Corporate Governance Code and its promotion in Greek enterprises as well as the subsequent establishment of the Greek Corporate Governance Council in 2012, at the 15-member council of which she is currently a Member.

She was President and CEO of Vivodi Telecom and President of Fortius Finance Securities S.A., companies which she founded. She has been a Member of the Board of SEV, as well as  Member of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Exchanges SA Group, for eleven consecutive years. She has been a Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Center for European Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Moreover, for several years, she taught courses at the Department of Accounting, Business Administration and Informatics at the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences. She holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Philosophy, Business Administration and Computer Programming. She speaks English, French and Italian and is the mother of three children.

She has been awarded by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Region of Attica for her outstanding entrepreneurship, as well as the Association of Smyrneans, the Navy, the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, the Filothei-Psychiko Municipality, the Unesco Club, the Tourism Awards Organization and Rotary Greece for her service to the country. She has been honored by The Lions Club of Athens Specialty New Voices and by Who is Who International Awards for supporting women in business and for her significant role in culture.
